Dear BPS Community:


Congratulations to the Bristol Central Girls Basketball Team on their incredible 58–52 victory over Rocky Hill High School to win the CIAC Division II State Championship!  It was an exciting and hard-fought game, with both teams demonstrating outstanding athleticism and perseverance. I’ll admit—there were moments I could barely watch because of the tension! Even when Bristol Central fell behind, they never gave up. They kept pushing forward with determination and resilience until the very end.
This team truly showed the heart of champions and made our entire community proud. A special shoutout to Coach Gaudet for his constant encouragement and leadership throughout the game. Well done, Rams!
