Dear Families,

We are incredibly proud of our students for SOARing—Safe, Optimistic, Accountable, and Respectful. These values are reflected in their daily actions and are an essential part of what makes our school community special. You should be proud of the way their children embrace these qualities and contribute positively to our school culture! As we wrap up the month of February, we wanted to share some important updates and reminders for the upcoming month:

Read Across America Day

We’re excited to celebrate Read Across America Day on Monday, March 3rd. We’ll have a variety of readers, including Superintendent White and Sonar from the Wolf Pack, joining us to promote the love of reading. Please take a look at the up and coming SPIRIT WEEK here Dr. Seuss Spirit Week.pdf .

Parking Safety Reminder

We’ve noticed an increase in unsafe parking practices in our lot after school, with some parents parking illegally. For the safety of our students, we ask that all families park on the street or in the side streets. This will help keep our kids safe as they leave school.

Cell Phones and Smart Watches

Please remember that cell phones and smart watches are not allowed on campus. If a student is seen with one, it will need to be picked up by a parent or guardian. We appreciate your cooperation in helping us maintain a focused and safe environment.

Parent/Teacher Conferences & Book Fair

Parent-teacher conferences will be held on March 19, 20, and 21. Teachers will be reaching out to schedule your meeting. We’re also excited to host our book fair during these days—stay tuned for more details!

SBAC Testing

SBAC testing is just around the corner, so please be prepared. More information will be shared soon regarding the schedule and expectations.
