STAFFORD SCHOOL PENNY WARS! 
Help the 5th Grade Raise Money for End-of-Year Activities
Dear Staff, Students, and Parents,
The 5th Grade is raising money for their end-of-year activities, and we are hoping the entire Stafford School community will join in the fun!
Penny Wars Dates:March 16 – March 27
HOW IT WORKS• Containers will be set up in the school office, one for each grade level.
• The goal is to collect the most points by the end of the competition.

Coin Rules
Pennies = ADD points to your grade’s total
Nickels, Dimes & Quarters = SUBTRACT points from that grade’s total
Example:
If your grade has 12 pennies and someone adds a nickel, your total becomes 7 points!
If your grade has 12 pennies and someone adds a nickel, your total becomes 7 points!
STRATEGY
Add pennies to help your grade level.
Drop silver coins into other grades’ containers to sabotage their score!
Even though coins may subtract points, all money collected goes toward the 5th Grade fundraiser.
THE PRIZEThe grade with the highest total on March 27th will win a
ICE CREAM PARTY!
