Big Supports for Little Learners!

An information night hosted by Bristol Early Childhood Collaborative in partnership with Bristol Public Schools for parents who either currently have a 504plan, IEp or think that their child may need one.  We will be highlighting the differences and proper steps to take through BPS. Dr. Amy Martino, Pupil Services Director will be providing a Q&A as well as a presentation on the support Bristol Public Schools has to offer. Sugar Cookie Decorating w/Royal Icing - Lucky Shamrock / Tuesday, March 10th 6:00PM

Come learn how to create beautiful sugar cookies with Royal Icing. You will learn and practice how to outline and flood cookies with icing. You will also learn different techniques to enhance the cookies. You will leave each session with beautifully decorated cookies to share with friends and families. Price includes registration and material fee.

Friends of the Bristol Public Library Winter Used Book Sale

The Friends of the Bristol Public Library will hold its annual Winter Used Book Sale from Wednesday, February 25 to Sunday, March 1 in the meeting rooms in the lower level of the Bristol Library, 5 High Street, Bristol. The sale includes more than eight thousand gently used hardcover and softcover books, DVDs, audio books, CDs and records. Books are priced from $.25 to
$2.00, and a large selection of specially priced books will also be available.

The sale opens with Preview Night (a $5.00 admission fee applies) on:

Wednesday, February 25 from 3:00 to 7:00PM

Regular sale hours (free admission)

Thursday, February 26 from 9:00AM to 7:00PM; 

Friday, February 27 from 9:00AM to 4:00PM; 

Saturday, February 28 from 9:00AM to 4:00 PM; 

Sunday, March 1 from 1:00 to 3:00PM.

Books will be sold at half-price all day Saturday, and the sale closes on Sunday with a fill-the-bag sale ($5.00 for a brown bag and $3.00 for a plastic bag) from 1:00 to 3:00PM. Specially priced books are not included in the half-price and bag sales, but will be available for purchase.

The Winter Used Book Sale is the Friends’ primary fundraising event, and the proceeds help provide the Bristol libraries with items and services not included in the annual budget, such as summer reading programs for adults, teens and children, museum passes, and Friends-sponsored special programs. All of the items in the sale were donated by community members, and the
Friends appreciate the generosity that makes this fundraiser possible.


 

Bristol Bulldogs Youth Football and Cheer 

2026 Spring Flag Football Registrations are now open! Games and practices will be on Sunday's beginning in April.

Ages 6u-14u will place 7v7 and we will have a fundamental program for ages 3-5 years old.

Bell City Broncos Youth Football

Want to play tackle football? Now registering for our Spring League! 

Our spring football program (ages 8 - 14) is where the journey begins. Free indoor training starts now, official practices begin March 1 and games will be played from April to June ending with playoffs and a championship game in June. 


Our fall football program (ages 5 - 13) is where the journey begins. Free indoor training starts mid July, official practices begin August 1 and games will be played from September to November ending with playoffs and a championship game in November.
